The purpose of my work is to examine, to feel out loud, and to invite conversation.

What do I examine?

When I look through my sketchbooks, I don't see failures. Instead I see honest attempts, unfinished thoughts, and studies of the things that fascinate me.

Rather than hiding mistakes, I often paint or draw directly over them. As this process unfolds, layers begin to accumulate until multiple realities coexist on the same surface. I like to think of this as a kind of superposition —a term borrowed from quantum physics, a subject I've always been fascinated by. Each mark contains the memory of the ones beneath it, allowing different moments of seeing and thinking to exist simultaneously.

These paintings grow organically, even antifragile, becoming stronger through revision and uncertainty. This gives me the freedom to oscillate fluidly between abstraction and figuration.

What do I feel?

Most often, a sense of awe. Painting puts me into a dreamlike state where intuition and the unconscious take the lead. In those moments, the work reveals emotions I wasn't consciously aware I was carrying. Perhaps it's more interesting not to ask not what it is that I feel, but what I don't.

What do I discuss?

At its core, my practice asks a simple but inexhaustible question: What are we? At the same time, it offers a quiet response: We are all one. Whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, we are inseparably connected—to one another, to nature, and to the unseen forces that shape our experience.

My work is an invitation to contemplate that connection and to find ourselves within it.
